Bennett Myers

Bennett focuses on providing strong, smart representation for individuals facing divorce and other family law matters. He understands that when the pressure is on, clients need a bold advocate to help them reach their goals. He is also a legal counselor who ensures that his clients fully and accurately assess their options before going into the high-stakes environments of court hearings and settlement negotiations. Bennett is a versatile advocate who regularly appears before courts in nine counties across the Coulee Region, in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Bennett lives in La Crosse with his wife and four children.

Attorney

Mikayla Becherer

Mikayla represents individuals in divorce, custody / placement disputes, paternity actions, restraining orders, and other family court matters across southwestern Wisconsin. She works to understand the unique circumstances of each client in order to advocate and support them. Experienced in sensitive and high-conflict matters, she approaches each case with a balance of legal rigor, practical judgment, and sensitivity to the emotional and psychological stressors that often accompany family court proceedings.

Mikayla also serves as a Guardian ad Litem in family court, where she conducts neutral investigations and provides courts with factually grounded, child-focused recommendations regarding the best interests of the child. This GAL experience informs her work with all clients and allows her to provide impartial counsel that takes multiple perspectives into account.

As both an advocate and a neutral, Mikayla relies on her experience working with individuals affected by trauma and other forms of adversity, in order to understand and guide parties through difficult legal challenges with patience and clarity.

Suzie is a dedicated and experienced paralegal who has been with Myers Law since 2019. Suzie’s approach to client communication is both compassionate and efficient, making sure that every question is answered and every concern is addressed promptly. she strives to make the legal process as smooth and understandable as possible for our clients.

In addition to her client-focused responsibilities, Suzie values teamwork and collaboration. She works closely with Attorney Myers, contributing her organizational skills and legal knowledge to help build strong, cohesive strategies for each case.
